well, I have a new definition for rotten... and that is when it's been Spring for more than two weeks... with temperatures in the 60's and 70's (15.5 to 21.1 C) and then Mother Nature allows Old Man Winter to sneak his ugly presence back in!! 
It has rained most of the day, and before morning, it is supposed to go down to 25 degrees (-3.8 C) and begin
AAAARRRRRGGGGHHHH!! 
So, my sweet hubby Bob =TThealer went out and rescued our cold and wet daffodils, before they froze!!

No I haven't asked him to - he says, and it's true, "they only die", of course they die still on the plant too, oh well nobody's perfect.
A little tale - I was in the hospital in S FL. He stopped and picked up a large vase of flowers for me and put them on the floor of the car.
Then went to the Union Hall for some reason and stayed for a couple hours with the windows closed in the car, oh did I say it was in the summer, though any time probably would have been hot.
Then went to get a bite to eat.
Then came to see me proudly surprising me with the flowers. He wondered why they died so fast.
When it comes to plants he enjoys from afar but doesn't "get it".
He does the grass/weeds and keeps the yard neat but that's as far as it goes.
Hope business is booming.
I can't imagine your backup here on DA, I'm behind, yours has to be sooooooooooooooooo much more.

Did you get a lot of snow? Our freezing rain turned to big fat flakes of snow in the early afternoon... and we now have several inches on top of the ice

The little ones we've got in our garden are beginning to fade but and I have a 'date' to go to a place called Daffodil Hill the first weekend of April
