Not sure why, but this doll disappeared from my gallery :/.

I've always been partial to Ireland, seeing as it's home to my fave musical group, Celtic Woman . (I also have ancestors from there, so double bonus!)

It was difficult choosing what the model would look like, b/c the idea that Irish girls are all redheads is as much a stereotype as it is for Scottish girls. I've seen blond & brown-haired Irish ladies as well, and there's a variety of eye-colors too, and there's also a special type of Irish look that makes the people of the Emerald Isle stand out too.

My mother told me about the Black Irish, who are easy to identify by their black hair, ice blue or green eyes, & pale skin. (I think it's a genetic trait from their Celtic Tribal ancestors, b/c before the Vikings invaded, most ppl in the British Isles had dark hair, dark eyes, & pale skin). I almost made the model Black Irish.

Hehe, makes you wonder, if Harry Potter had been a real person, if he had some Irish ancestry in him, due to the black hair & green eyes ^^.
