My latest James Silvani commission. Have I mentioned how ridiculously awesome that man is?I wanted a picture to go with my Quackerjack Megavolt one [link] , and he did an A-MAZING job with what I asked for! I so loves my purdy new picture

Normally I tend to like villains better. They're just so much cooler! Darkwing is one of the few heroes I really like a lot. But then he's hardly a normal superhero lol.

Man, this is so delightfully twisted (in more ways than one...) and yet so true to the show at the same time. I really like how he captured the feel of the show while, at the same time, choosing a composition that would be way too darn hard to animate in the 90's show, really justifying the piece.
I love how Bushroot's arms have split into multiple vines here too. He never did that in the show but always imagined he could do that.
Also, I feel kind of bad for Darkwing Duck there. That can't feel good...

Most fans of vigilante heroes want to see their hero all cool and triumphant. I love how the Darkwing pictures are more "let's give the hero as much grief as we can!"
