Description

I wanted to save the impression. Photos can't transfer it.

So, here it is... Sorry again for the similar theme, but I have no enough time for something else.

Now I'm finally switching for work, so, no more any art ...

(May be the only one small and also very positive engine, but it'll be for long time. )

Stunning work indeed! Definitely captured the weather for that four days it ran! I believe Friday was the best day and Sunday, the day I was on, was terrible!! Wet, wet and wet!

Thank you. I've just realized that I like this weather. The contrast sky, the wind and sudden rain a view of steam trains, smell of coal and sound of the wistles even enhance all the feelings of beauty of this comletely amazing situation.

Probably I'll do another one, in another style.

I love wet days once we are out and about on the line but I don't like prepping in the wet!!

Super work

Looks like he's wearing his old "A4" class boiler!  Very impressive!

Hmm, It's probably my problems with the perspective. It should be A3.

Terrific detail.

This quote is set on the wrong line entirely (The Flying Scotsman ran on the UK East Coast Main Line; this is set on the West CML):-

"Pulling up Beattock, a steady climb:
The gradient's against her, but she's on time.

Past cotton-grass and moorland boulder
Shovelling white steam over her shoulder,

Snorting noisily as she passes
Silent miles of wind-bent grasses.

Birds turn their heads as she approaches,
Stare from bushes at her blank-faced coaches."

Another belter here, great work Shame you're output may be about to drop but if you're busy you're busy, still i'm sure you'll pick up the canvas again at some point.

Thank you! I'll try... The problem is - I have ideas more than time, and can't draw fast...

I understand completely, got about a hundred ideas upstairs and half started edits on my computer that may never come to pass. It's not about pleasing other fans with a continual output but simply doing a piece when it catches your fancy (and when you actually have spare time of course).

Yes. I also have many unfinished artworks in which I lost interest while doing them, or decided not to show for some reasons, or just dislike.
