This is old toms skeleton...he was an orca and originally helped the whalers pull the carcusses of their caught whales into shore so they could process them...they rewarded him by feeding him their tongues....Related content

This was taken in Eden NSW Australia at the whale museum there...Old Tom was an orca/killer whale so yeah, a big boy as you say...

they sure are, and we see a lot down here....we even have a whale festival here in october/november to celebrate them

Yeah, the town goes from 9000 people to about 50,000 in the space of a few days!!!!Everyone loves the whale festival!!!!

yes, a big day!!!!The town holds the whale festival to celebrate the coming of the whales as they migrate....there are floats from all the schools,business houses and there are various rides for the kiddies,and then of an evening the fireworks display.They have this down at the wharf precinct and as i live on ny boat down there i get front row seats!!!!!
