You should write and nake alternative ending from manga chapter 698 with other artists like the-pooper. It will be great. You are better then Kishi.

why dont we just get 2 endings in Naruto. one where in the movie naruto ends up with Hinata and in the shippuden he ends with sakura. so the fans can chose who they like best, and every one ends up happy. i mean Naruto has been fighting for sakura all he's life, suddenly we found out he ends up with Hinata WTF??

So I have this theory that the way Naruto ended was a giant f-u to the publishers and maniac fans that ruined Kishi's story. Hear me out
Despite the mounting evidence that supported Naruto and Sakura ending together in the series, there was a large vocal fanbase who wanted Naruto only to end up with Hinata, despite the limit interactions between the two. These fans put the pressure on the publishers who put the pressure on Kishi. In spite of his pleas, they gave him little ultimatum. Β Furious that he was losing control of his series, he went the "full-retard" approach and threw away of all the character development produced up to this point.Β
For the record, I have nothing against Naruto ending with Hinata. It just doesn't make sense that them becoming a couple requires the once strong-will Sakura to become an obedient, subservient housewife to Sasuke; for Sasuske to all of sudden express his love for Sakura (which never happened up until to that point); and for the random pairings of the other characters. If Kishi wanted Naruto to be with Hinata, then just make them a couple and leave everyone else intact. Β But the fact there were so many head scratching out of the blue modifications to the story that ultimate depreciates it suggest that Kishi was not happy with losing his grip on his creation. Just a theory.Β
