This is my entry for the Tomb Raider Reborn contest, this is actually the first time I try to paint like this so I hope you will like it!I think one of my first memories of videogames I have since I was a kid, was seeing my dad playing the first Tomb Raider games, I always loved watching him playing and I also remember to always get scared whenever he was playing a BOSS stage ahah XD
So yeah about the drawing:
Originally this pic was bigger and it featured Lara with the Crossbow, but unfortunatly few days ago I saw an official poster that had the same pose, rain and etc...
So instead of giving up I decided to focus only on the face, I think it matches her character anyways.
Please comment and give suggestion if you have any, I would really appreciate your opinion on this piece!

I find it absolutely hilarious that they did their absolute best to try and make Lara completely and utterly without sex appeal in this game yet ended up failing miserably.

I've looked at most of the drawings so far for the contest, and this would probably be my number one pick. It shows alot of emotion and focuses directly on Lara.
Alot of the other artwork you can tell they havent played the game.

I can appreciate the amount of Time and Detailing that you have placed into This Piece.
I have been a student of Art since I was 12 years old. Never had a chance to get any Official Education in Art.
I find your Entry Piece very alluring. Perhaps its that Hurt/Angry/Desperate Expression or the Mystery of the Hidden portion of her face.
It reminds me, back when I was 12 and discovered Boris Vallejo for the first time. It was a close up image of the models face. Next picture was the full Image.
I fell in Love with Boris and his Art.
