Welp, this is a pretty big mess, but I'm still kinda proud of it. I've been animating in Pencil2D and tweaked the frame length with AniMake, as usual. The Speed varies between 60 to 130 ms per frame, mostly 90 ms per frame, so it's not as smooth as a professional cartoon, but getting closer. I've been considering to draw additional inbetweens to smoothen out the action some more, maybe I'll do that later when my wrist doesn't hurt anymore. ^^

I chose Karkat for this one because he's the one I'm currently the most comfortable drawing. Though I still feel like he looks too female the way I draw him right now...
The idea was that he fliches because the lights go on and then sees something disturbing - I got a whole scene in my head that inspired me to do this, though I doubt that I'll ever animate the whole thing, so this was just for practice. I'm still struggling with some principles of animation, but I think I've been improving slowly but steadily.

What I found the most difficult here was animating Karkat's hair. Whenever I try to animate hair, it develops a life of its own, because I either overdo the follow-though/drag (Is that how you call it?) or I just do it completely wrong. And I guess solid drawing isn't exactly my biggest strength, so there's not enough continuity in my animations yet. Buut I'm working on it.
