Remember this old pic? [link] This is the much improved Barricade-inspired cosplay
Despite borrowing the corset from my auto show outfit, since it was so similar to the black and plain silver underbust corset design, I decided to use it and it actually worked really nicely. I wore this to Animarathon 09 down at Bowling Green State University in Ohio. I found the perfect costume police hat at a nearby shop. Unfortunately at the time I still just had the airplane earrings (Seeker reference anyone?) but I now own a pair of handcuff earrings (and they actually function, LOL!). But anywho, yay costumey fun Of course I had to take lil Cade with me. Pity I didn't run into any cop cars while I was there 
I'm still waiting to find a cop willing to let me take pics with his car...preferably a Charger Things I still need to do: get a Decepticon patch, find a way to embroider "To punish and enslave" on the front, snag a Charger/Mustang/Saleen cop car

Barricade is, in my opinion, the most badarse Decepticon in the new movies. Not even Megatron or Starscream can compare!

That's the best part about costuming; doing something original while still being recognizable as something (in this case, Barricade). It's one thing to make a cardboard or foam or whatever Transformer costume that makes a person look like the cartoon or movie character, but it's something totally different and unique to do a different spin on it like this
