Description "... give me my sin again"
from Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet"
I"M REALLY PROUD OF THIS ONE!!! yayful!
It took a LONG TIME doing all the coloring and shading, but thank God and HP for PSP8 at an affordable price. And yes, it's another IxK kissing pic, but this time you can see someone's eye. I really like how the eye turned out, too - the highlights especially
I hope y'all like this one!!

psp, eh? well, it's a lot like photoshop. What I do is I scan in my linework, touch it up with the eraser and a black paintbrush with 100 hardness, and then select areas for coloring using the magic wand (i'm not sure if it's called that in psp XD )
Then I use the fill tool to lay down flat colors in the areas I've selected (i use anti-alias when i select, just for the softened feel) You don't actually have to select for filling, but sometimes I do, incase i mis-click because using undo sometimes makes the program puke and spit out some really strange anomalies that won't go away.
Anyhow, after that I select my flat areas and use the paintbrush tool with a darker color, large size, very low hardness, and varying opacity (usually between 50 and 80) to do shadows. You have to be REALLY CAREFUL about opacity, though, because sometimes it layers and you get freaky stuff. If that happens, i select the color I want (eyedropper) and go up to 100 opacity, then just keep going like nothing happened (...) Highlights are the same deal, only with a lighter color, and i don't do them very much.
Backgrounds... are a bitch. For this, I selected the background, filled it with a gradient (you'll have to look in help topics for that, sorry, i can't explain it well) and then (while it was still selected) used the picture tube to put in "modern circles". Then I added another raster layer and put more "modern circles" on that.
Beyond that... check out Photoshop For Dummies. It's very detailed, contains examples, and is generally a great book. It won't fit exactly with PSP's function, but a lot of the general concepts are very close (but you'll have to explore menus, probably)
Happy digital coloring!
P.S. I'm glad you like my art even though you hate the pairing Tashio wrote a journal comparing the two pairings, which you might like if you havent' read it

Hey, you can never have too many Inuyasha/Kagome kissing pictures - especially since it's never happened in the series (well, the second movie, but that doesn't really count since the movies aren't really canon to the manga).

Great job. Glad you got yourself an art program for your computer. Does that mean we'll be seeing more from you? *rubs hands in anticipation* You did an awesome job on this - I'll wait (im)patiently for more...
