Thanks!
I make them from oven bake polymer clay, like sculpey or fimo, and after they are sculpted and baked I paint and decorate them.

Thank you. It really means alot since I always want them to look like they could be alive but it's still hard to control how they turn out.

Super cute! LOVE the hair and feathers. I like that you make each detail and addition of materials count for something in each of your sculptures!

Her smile looks so genuine and kind, that I don't see her as a scary thing. I think the lack of eyes brings some mystique touch to your sculptures.

So cute and yet so eerie, because of the seemingly empty eye-sockets...

Thanks. lol I've gotten a few other comments saying it looks creepy. I guess it really must be the hollow eyes.

Hey it was really awesome seeing the WIP shots of her and now the final sculpture!
What do you use for hair, it looks fantastic!

Thanks! I actually love to see other peoples WIP images also so I'm glad I'm not the only one.
Her hair is actually made from a combination of Tibetan lamb hair, natural fur, and chicken feathers. I don't know what kind of animal the fur came from, got it from an old hat, but I wish I did.

Yeah me too! It makes them seem more human haha
Well she looks stunning, I just discovered lamb hair myself and I'm dying to start experimenting with it. Your colour choices are gorgeous as well, I think that was one of the first things that drew me to your work, they're so earthy and elegant.
