Yeah... It really is. Even if she's not really thinking about the killing so much as having little rugrats around.

Wow! Killing him's a bit drastic! Have him put in jail or something. Jenna's a Jarl- she could totally pull strings to have him put away.

Well, Thane. And she probably could, but she has another tactic up her sleeve.

Thane- yes. *scratches head wearily*
I look forward to seeing this plan.

Yeah, sometimes people just hold onto anger and powerlessness until it makes them think bad thoughts.

I hate, HATE their father. I'm not a fan of Sissle's sister either. I've killed their father so many times to save them that I've started getting creative with it. I mean, it's pretty simple to take him out with a bow and some distance, but my favorite thus far has been hitting him (while hidden) with a fury spell during a dragon attack, and rather than letting him run away like the coward normally does, he attacked the dragon, and got eaten ^.^ Then I adopt Sissle and let the brat go to the orphanage, though by that point, Grelod is already dead. Even that little snit I wont send into yet another abusive situation. Of all the people that could be killed in the game, be they out of boredom or assassination contracts, those two are a couple of the most deserving of death.

Even though we talked about this plot beforehand, seeing it is still so unsettling.

Did we discuss the whole plot? I can't remember.
Yeah, sadly, darkness lies in all people's hearts. It's just figuring out how to overcome it. Sometimes, it takes knowing how someone else feels to lighten the way.

John would not approve of this action Jenna. Think this through.
On a side note this reminds me of my brother's character who killed Alvor and Sigrid by mistake and then a week and 20 hours into the game later found and adopted Dorthe having forgotten the event.
He only realized what had happened when he entered Riverwood on a new character. Still haunts him.

Wow.... pent up anger much Erik? That really doesn't seem like you....
Though to be fair, J'zena probably would have attacked Lemkil right then and there... Not killed him, but definitely scratched the hell outta him.

Oh yeah, seeing Lemkil act that way for nearly nine years now, I'm sure Erik feels very uneasy and now has snapped and said things he is not sure that he means.

Getting the girls away from Lemkil will be the best thing for them... But I REALLLY hope Jenna and Erik don't do anything too rash....

It would be very good for them to be out of that environment. We shall see what they do.
*kinda spoiler* Let's just say that Jenna uses her skills from a different affiliation to aid in the quest.

Ehhh... I guess little assassin action made kids in Riften's orphanage very happy, so there's a precedent.
Heh, come to think of it, I wonder what your version of Erik would think about his counterpart's fate in my comic...

Dang, that's a darker suggestion that I would have expected from Erik. He always seemed to me more like the diplomatic type. But then again that's my game's Erik I'm thinking of, not Jenna's.

I kind of intensified Erik's reaction. In this story he has a closer relationship with Sissel and he can get a little hot-headed/irrational at times. We'll see what happens in the next episode.

I don't think Sissel and her sister will shed many tears if Lemkil is Lemkilled. So go for it. A parent that know nothing about parenting is a better parent than a parent who thinks that abuse is good parenting.

Wow, I figured Erik would be willing to adopt this girls and give them a better life, but not murder their father to do it.
Part of me is wondering if that's really Erik or some doppleganger.
Are they wolves or foxes in the background? They're pretty small, but I can't tell if that's size or distance.

LadyMetaRose In reply to the-exiled-muse [2015-09-29 16:47:01 +0000 UTC]
I like to think that Erik had momentary break in will. Actually, come to think of it, they both have recently done things that are not really "like them." Jenna reacting to Serana wanting to be cured, and Erik now being so angry with Lemkil, he says such nasty horrible things. Sometimes that happens to people in real life. They let things build up and get in the way and say and do things that are... really out of character.
We'll see how this really plays out.
They are meant to be wolves. I was trying to make them off in the distance. (I was actually planning on covering them up with the word bubbles when I drew them, but I thought they were too cute in spite of their rudimentary look.)

Maybe he talked to the girls and it's them who want Lemkil dead? He did say he's been preparing that with his trips to Rorikstead. So maybe he asked them and they said that?

the-exiled-muse In reply to EinoKoskinen [2015-09-29 12:44:55 +0000 UTC]
That is possible, that or one or both of the girls begged him to take them away from their father.
Still, Erik has always been someone of strong moral values. In some ways he's Jenna's moral compass. I can't really see him murdering someone, even someone like Lemkil.

I think he has wanted to adopt... well... Sissel, but I think the idea of offing Lemkil was a knee-jerk reaction. This actually was kind of hinted in "Tag or Hide and Seek."
Thank you!
