I am still feeling very much wary about having Sissel and Erik just go off and joining the Forsworn like that. It's just some deep-rooted suspicion I have for them, really, but I can't say it's unfounded. I will be watching and hoping for the best. Though I will admit, I do kinda like the analogy between the Reachmen and Skaal with respect to the Bretons and Nords, respectively.

It takes an epic-level diplomat to send your own child off with her would-be kidnappers in the name of broader understanding. I hope this doesn't come back to bite Jenna in the tail. Then again, Sissel proved in this strip that she's not entirely defenseless.

Pretty much! Well, Jenna doesn't quite understand that aspect yet. But Sissel might be treated to that knowledge.
Yeah, Jenna and Erik did train the girls well. They have good instincts. I'm sure Sissel will be fine. 
Jenna, however, just might be a little insane. She definitely tries a lot of things that don't make much sense.
