Just finished reading this book for a stupid summer reading thing I have, but it was worth reading at least :')

Wonderful job, this is how I pictured it as well!

The thing that kind of scares me about this is the fact that they have the exact same faces I pictured them having.
On a completely different note, it really is a nice piece of art. Everything, from the grass to the sky in the background, is just plain wonderful. Thank you for this wonderful piece of art.

I watched this movie in english class, the one with John Malchovich (sp?) and Gary Sinise, and I have been in love with it, (and Sinise might i add) ever since. ^_^

I have read 'Of Mice and Men' and it was very sad. I always thought Lennie to be huggable and that he just needed help. But anyway, this picture is great. It portrays them well and I love the expressions. And who can not love the little bunny.

I remember when my sister read that book to me (several years ago)! It's so sad! I usually only cry during books, but I don't remember if I did during this one. Still sad, nonetheless.

Never read the book, but I have seen the film. It was so sad! Mostly because the big fella (Lennie?) was like a child - a big very dangerous child - and didn't really know right from wrong.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

LadyNyaruInfinity In reply to blue-nadir [2005-10-19 01:34:29 +0000 UTC]

Indeed. It was quite sad that George had to kill him. But it was for the better. A definately better fate than what he would have gotten if Curley and the rest got him first.

ignisia [2005-10-16 01:38:21 +0000 UTC]

awwwww....T_T

(And no one in the story deserved to die. >_< Except maybe Curley, who, unfortunately, didn't die...*cough*)

I read a LOT of books, but I've only cried over about 4 or 5. Of Mice and Men was one of them.
