Well... this is probably the best CG pic of Heero and Duo that I've done up to date. The bg was a total insanity act that my friend helped me out with for the basic structure, etc. This picture is actually my 1000 HIT KIRIBAN for whom this picture was made ESPECIALLY for. ^_^ She adores cross-dressing men. Even better if they are yummy yaoi men.Well, I hope that everyone likes it bunches. I do.
BTW - I clicked Advanced Critique because I would like for people to tell me specifics about this pic that they enjoy, etc. So please - don't be too harsh 'cause I screwed up on some things. ^_^;;;

I think I really botched the color on Heero's outfit... it's entirely too bright compared to Duo's. LOL I didn't notice that before until now, years later. Ty for the comment and sorry it took me so long to reply!

The bg is AMAZING! I can't do backgrounds to save my life, but you...This...Woah! 
My only crit. is that perhaps the guys need a little bit of shading on their hair and skin.

Ah... you want to know what happened with the shading??? *snickers* Umm... at the time... my monitor was crap. Everything looked darker to me when in fact, it was very light! >_< I should have known better. *snickers* Thanks so much for your compliements! And truthfully, I can't draw bgs very well either... I had help with this one and together we did it. His 3D skills and my drawing. I really ought to practice on bg more. *nod nod* Oh yes, fishnets are fun! I did these with just a layover pattern that I drew though... which doesn't exactly make them look "real" but still... sometimes shortcuts are needed for the sake of sanity. *LOL* Thanks again for the super nice comments!

Well, it was my older monitor, I've finally replaced mine and the colors seem much more vibrant to me now and in proper shades. Thankyou again for you super nice comments to me. They make me smile very much!

Holy sh!t! That is amazing, and totally hilarious @ the same time! The only thing I see wrong with this pic is the outside. Personally I think that Heero's maid outfit could be better if it was a diff hue...like....midnight blue or something. & the kitchen's wall could be a more rosy tone to kinda off-set the stark red in Duo's outfit. Other than that, I think it's a very good CG of the pair. ^-^

Umm... what's wrong with the outside??? *blinks* And I was thinking about doing Heero's maid outfit in blue but, that's been done so many times that I went for a different look of a deep purple instead to get out of the repetative cycle for standard navy blue or black maid outfits.
I would have made the kitchen walls another color... but because of the red in Duo's outfit, I chose against a rose shade. That too crossed my mind and when I tried it out in my layers, it came out looking like the whole picture was being choked with red. I needed a decent contrast and white was too plain, green was just horrid, and a soft blue seemed the best choice for now until I can construct some wallpaper or something like that.
But, other then this, I'm glad that you seemed to like it. Thankyou. ^_^

I thought that was blue, not purple, my mistake. And the outside looks far to similar to what I can see outside my window, very nasty. <----Has about 4ft. of the white stuff outside the mentioned window. And how about making it look like tiles instead? Tiles are always classy. But I kinda meant the rosy tone that you really gotta look to see if it's there or not, but after your explaination, I can see why the walls are blue.

I've seen him drawn as a furry alot, but I've also seen him drawn as a cat boy in alot of my doujinshi that I own. I like him that way. I probably should get around to drawing him as a cat boy if nothing else just for a small fun picture.

I think you did a good job on designing their outfits...I know lots of yoi toi drawings have the GW boys in bunny, kitty, or maid dipictions, but your costumes are well done, and unique designs. ^_^/
And I know everybuggy's saying this......but....^.^ If that was MY kitchen....

first of all, GREAT lineart of Duo and Heero. really great. These two are NOT easy to draw let alone in these outfits and damn, you really did them justice even if you DID make them crossdress.
Secondly, that background blew my MIND. Holy cow.....the detail, the perspective...everything....
and lastly, Duo's bana split and the cream on Heero's cheek....
that's all I'm gonna say. LOL!!!!!

Yes, I wanted to put Heero in a color that seemed to suit him and I chose a deep purple almost blue because I was tired with the classic black or navy.

I'll say things I like about this though.
The outfits on Heero and Duo are like... meant for them!! X_X;; Yay for x-dressing sekshi yaoi bshounens!!! XD Also, I really like the kitchen!! O_O!! That should've taken like... forever. Omg how'd you do all that??
Also, I notice something like a slip of paper between Duo's fingers... I think it says Heero x Duo, XD, or something... what is i suppose to be? *tilts head*
One thing though... kitchen is too clean... you'd think by that droplet of cream on Heero's face, the kitchen'd be... burning up in there, if you know what I mean. XD;;;

And yes... to answer your question... the kitchen DID take forever. I started with a 3D model of a kitchen that I constructed with the help of my friend and alot of plug-ins. Then, I drew the outlines for it and basically rendered it back into a 2D picture. Then, I colored it, etc. As for the little backyard scene... OMG. That damn near killed me to draw. I used a real pic as a reference for the furniture and then went from there to re-design it step by step. My fingers were totally cramping at the end because I had no prior experience in drawing such precise 3D ish furniture. Even if it was mostly straight lines and the snow was the hardest part. I've still got a TON of stuff to learn about how to use Photoshop, but the more that I do use it, the more that I remember and learn. It's very complicated to use that program to it's full ablilities.

Now that you mention it, I might go back into my layers and add some more mess on the counter top. I tried to draw a sink but it came out all wrong so I didn't add that. However, I could draw a cookie sheet with cookies on it or something and some more cookie dough splattered in places. *wink*

Skweeee XD at first glance I thought it was a painting, but then again, it's a kitchen so I was like... "Oh, it's a window..." but then I went all like this: O_O;;; "Oh my god... that outside view is too perfect to be a background scene... @_@;;; If life was that perfect..."
I'm seriously surprised! At first I also thought that maybe you took a painting or something [it seriously does look like a painting!! 
Also, I remember thinking about this when I first view this deviation... [I spent 30 minutes looking at it, I'm for real!! I remember 'cause I was eating sushi and I really do take my time on eating sushi... =^~^= and yeah. 30 minutes of looking at it to the last detail. =^______^=] that the temperatures must be really really high in that kitchen 'cause, 1, they're wearing those luvable downright molestable outfits inside a kitchen backing... cake? cookies? and serving ice cream? @_@;;; Wah... now I'm confused... Ah! No wonder... this is what I think basically, they're baking cookies cause it's so hot outside but then the house turned out to be turing really *hot* and so they changed into those

Yeah, my friends were like... "the bg looks real!" and all I did was airbrush the hell outta the pic and add snow. Lots of airbrush snow. I'm still experimenting with snow myself too, so don't feel badly if you can't draw it yet. I think that it's kinda a must that you draw snow with cg... I don't see how even I could draw it otherwize and make it look real. It would just look like blobs of... err........................ nevermind. I just realized that you were thinking the same thing too. *LOL* ^_^;

Well, I figgured that inside, it could be warm enough to wear things like that. I still wear shorts and t-shirts or tanktops inside my home during winter.
Umm... honestly, the whole baking thing with ice-cream and stuff was rather on the whim of a thought for me. I didn't really think about it that way............................ Now I'll never stop thinking about it! Not that that is a bad thing or anything mind you... *tee hee*

I have to be hand shown still how to do things in PS. I can't get my brain to remember everything it needs to. And you probably won't see bgs like this from me very often at all. But to let you in on a lil secret... my next big bg will be even more detailed then this one and will involve Heero and Duo again, so be on the lookout for it hopefully within the next month or so.
