Name: Sweetgrass
Gender: Female
Species: Ferret
Personality: A sweet, albeit maybe a teensie bit overzealous ferret, Sweetgrass is aptly named. Bubbly and cheerful, Sweetgrass isn't too shy about making friends! Or shoving them together when she thinks she's found a cute match! She is a matchmaker, after all, what else were you expecting, really? Though she can be incredibly nosy and hates feeling left out, she's always got something fun to do, and is always available for a shoulder to cry on.... With home-made ice cream and rom coms at the ready!
Birthday: June 4
Catchphrase: "Sweetheart!"
History: Sweetgrass has very little to note, history-wise. She was born the single child to a single mother, and though any child with but a single parent might wonder about their absent parent, Sweetgrass never really suffered for it. Her mother was no-nonsense, a hardworking jill, but loved her daughter dearly. She may not have understood her overly energetic kit's outgoing mind sometimes, but she supported her nonetheless, through every ridiculous adventure and every silly endeavor for friends.
She may be a young ferret fresh out of school, but Sweetgrass is excited for her new life as a single ferret on her own in Rosewood as she is excited for..... Well, anything and everything, really! She's taking her new title as "town matchmaker" very seriously... even if she's only supposed to be a romance novelest. Or a baker. Or a.... Hey, don't look at her like that, you can have more than one lifelong dream when you're young and fresh into town! That.... Or maybe she's still figuring herself out...

His jaw drops at Sweetgrass' words. He was stunned by the ferret's words, and he suddenly isn't sure what a face is for. He gapes for several more moments, somewhere between a scowl and disbelief, before it hits him that he just might have to do as Sweetgrass wanted, if he was to get anything out of this visit. An awkward and forced smile finds its way on his lips, the corners of his mouth twitching in irritated confusion. When he speaks, its mostly with sarcasm, and a hint of a bite behind it.

Sweetgrass ~ "Now isn't a smile and a friendly disposition so much nicer, Sweetheart? I'm sure you'll find this is just the holiday to turn your sour sweet if you'll let it~"
If Sweetgrass noticed his sarcasm and irritation, she certainly didn't show it, instead pressing a kiss into the candy and placing it in his waiting palm
Sweetgrass ~ "After all, now you have two treats, and isn't that better than just one, Sweetheart~?"

His smile had begun to fall, his facial muscles finding the upturn of his lips too difficult to handle. They protest further at Sweetgrass' words, but he holds the grin for as long as he can, gritting his teeth to stop himself from making a remark he might regret.
He watches, baffled, when Sweetgrass plants a kiss on the candy, his horror becoming more apparent when the sweet was placed in his palm. He stares at it, gaping, and almost certain that the candy had just been cursed right before his very eyes. He decides not to say anything about it lest Sweetgrass react... unfavourably.
Oswell: ...Right. Two... treats. I... I'll go now. Thanks, I guess.
Under his breath, he mumbles about giving it to someone else - just in case.
