I think this artwork is still awesome even though you may not be happy with the hair! I like the facial expressions and the colours you have used. When it comes to hair, what I usually do is block the darkest tone with a square or suitable blocking brush and then add in the lighter tones and highlights while reducing brush size. When you use this method, you don't have to draw hair strand by strand which is time-consuming.
But at times, doing hair is can get annoying! up to a point, you'd love to leave them bald for the rest of their lives hahaha

Oh my God 😂😂😂 XD laughed so much at leaving them bald Ahahaha it could be an option... too bad that my chars look terrible before I draw the hair ahahaha... yeah I've been experimenting so many techniques and none of them leaves me satisfied (I guess it could be because I still haven't mastered any of it so the result always sucks XD) I used to draw hair without lineart and then switched to hair in the linearts and block shading and then got back to no lineart but I'm not happy so guess I'll try something more similar to your suggestion again. Yeah, right... #restless XD
