Description
Sweet little Varyan, the innocent prince trapped and corrupted and turned in to the perfect submissive. Delightfully quiet and cruel Sahzsha the vampire, always willing to humiliate Varyan by reminding him of his desires.But what have these two been up to that Sahzsha looks all ruffled, and Varyan has blood on his cheek and lips? It boggles the mind.
This was fun to work on. Yes, it is a redo of a previous painting. But now it's no longer a fanart, and the artwork is very much beter, imo. Doing their hair is great, as I've discovered that I LOVE doing hair. And when I was designing their outfits, I just HAD to put Varyan in little low-rise pants and a thong. If straight men find it so sexy on women, why wouldn't it be sexy on a pretty boy? And I liked doing the glitter on his body. Just enough to be bright and show up, but not enough to be overwhelming.
There were a lot of hours put in to this, and I am rather excited about it. Just something spiffy for fun.

WOW, this is amazing i must say. Right critique...urm..well there are only some tiny tiny things that i can see. 
Here goes: The hair on the woman's back seems to look a bit rigid and stiff. Also i think that it might just flop onto her back and us not see it. Also thier eyes look a bit flat. And on the woman not the right shape. heh, or maybe that's just the style you're aiming for.

Lol....yeah, i have an obsession for beautiful effeminite men. People get thrown off all the time, so no worries.
Yeah, i do have a purposely stylized look to my characters, so his eyes are supposed to be oddly shaped. Unless you mean that one's not shaped the same as the other, then that's a mistake.
I didn't even see the hard highlight on the white face. My monitor's gamma is all sorts of messed up, so i see dark things pretty well, but have issues with the highlights some times. Must check that more carefully next time.
Honestly, that's the first time i've spilled hair down a character's back like that. I had no idea how it would actually turn out, so if it looks stiff, i can certainly understand that.
And no, not too harsh. I've had some harsh commentary before, and most of it wasn't as helpful as this is. Knowing all the little flaws in something helps me get better at it.

Good lord child. I need to eat you now. Because This has like, pretty much everything I've been poking you with. Things are beautifully defined, the colors are dynamic and vibrant, the hair is looking loose and ruffly spectacular. You are the awesome. I really really appreciate the use of various textures in Varyan's arm-bands and the anatomy is pretty damn sweet for such a pose, the fit together so WELL.. and that's incredibly hard to achieve, that feeling of two forms pressing against one another. I really really like this. Not just because of the technique, however

"I think my only crits would be on the faces, especially on the lower parts and the cheeks. It seems a little awkward because you have such gorgeous realistic faces and eyes, but the chins seem very thin and point, with a greatly rounded ball resting on the chin. I think also maybe look a lips a little more, and the way the ends spread and how the lips are a part of the face"

You are so good! I love the skin tones and the glitter effect that you have on here. Your attention to detail is wonderful right down to the jewelry and the pattern on the wall. You do textures very well and that makes your images so much more rich. One that that seems out of place is Sahzsha's right leg, it seems to me that it is joining his hip too high perhaps? I cannot see where it joins so I may be totally off since his love slave is in the way( move slave!), but it seems high or something. I am still looking at it and I don't know if that is it, maybe it is proportionally off or something. I dunno but don't worry because it is minor. Love the cool color scheme.

well, i turned the whole body a little when i was doing it in daz3d, so Sahz might seem a little off.

That's super fun! You've worked that glitter really well: how did you do it?
The one quibble is that his arse is a bit flat, but it's only noticable if you stare at it for hours. Not that I've been doing that or anything.

yes, this did indeed used to be kain and raziel.....but it works so well as them.
flat ass....nope hadn't noticed in all the hours i stared at his ass while coloring things.......but that oculd have also been because of the pose model i used. damn it
the glitter was done through spiffy brush settings, a blending layer option, and bright colors. i believed i used overlay for the body glitter, and soft light for the clothing.

Then the end of Defiance happened, and my head almost imploded.

well.....now that i think of them as a couple, i get chills just watching the opening of soul reaver. i mean, i always thought it was pretty neat when kain was walking behind raziel, and it was just neat how he didn't quite touch the wings.....but now i see something so much more intimate in that encounter

It's very intimate in a sort of S&M kind of way. Especially if you remember that wings are very, very sensitive because of the thin wing-membranes.

well, if it hadn't already shown itself, i am just a wee tiny bit in to S& M *hides the silk rope tied to her headboard* so that kind of intimacy is faboo. and then there's the whole uncertain/fearful feeling of having someone cruel and mean standing behind you with that narrow-eyed look, not quite sure what they're going to do to you.
and then the god awful soul-shattering pain of having wings ripped off *shudders* what we didn't see between that and Raziel being tossed to the abyss was Kain ravaging him on the blood throne room floor
