Not too long ago, I did a drawing of what X looked like when he’s corrupted by Achille’s dark magic in the “Worlds Unite” fan fiction I’m collaborating on with - here’s another drawing of the transformation Sonic and the original Mega Man underwent when THEY were brainwashed in the same fan fiction. I’m afraid I made Mega Man look a little too similar to his original appearance, but Sonic’s appearance is largely inspired by his final transformation in “Sonic and the Black Knight” and Kane from the first “Shining Force” game- and yes, I know these two look different when they’re brainwashed in the Archie Comics “Worlds Unite” arc, but I wanted to go with something scarier than that. BTW, in case you’re curious, the capsules Sonic and Mega Man were tossed into as they were being brainwashed were enhanced by dark magic from Darksol- he and Sonic belong to Sega, and Mega Man belongs to Capcom.
