Wow! Looking up and seeing that thing preparing to attack would put me off my feed for days. That dagger isn't nearly big enough and that critter is so grotesque, I wouldn't want to touch it. How about an enchanted, two handed sword that does 3d20 damage. It might not be fair but it would encourage the artist to create physically more attractive monsters.

Been playing D&D, off and on, since 1976. Did you ever play their post apocalypse game, Gamma World? You could be humanoid, mutant or robot. It was half serious and half Monty Phython. I remember there was this cult of talking, walking, human size rabbits that every time they touched metal, it turned to rubber. There were secret societies up the wazoo and my group played it for 2 years but TSR dropped the game. Oh well.

I believe Crimson Dynamo, Jx-9 and Catalina-Wingstorm play Champions on line. I feel guilty about time taken away from reading and writing if I played computer games. My brother is addicted to Dragon Age Origin and he has about 20 games he dabbles in including the original Tomb Raider. Playing D&D around a table with friends was always so enjoyable.

I agree. I think there would be an audience for a computer role playing game along the lines of Dragon Age Origin. As Bio-Ware has been bought by a console game company and most of the top creative people left, perhaps they will form a company dedicated to serious and complicated role play that can only be done on a computer. We may yet see a super hero/heroine game that can be played by intelligent people.

Oh, I did not know that about Bioware, I really loved Dragon Age. The first was great, the second was okay, but lots of choices and characters, it was a lot of fun..so much fun I played them both through twice. And the origins were great. I hope they make a superhero game someday like it...but I will not hold my breath.

I like the angles you've been experimenting with.

Seeing something like that towering over you...the only thing i can think of is..."Oh Frak!!!" The ring could always create a BFG to take that thing out easily.

Also, being a new owner of the ring, the ring might be using her thoughts to assist her until she has a better understanding.

I think that is true, and I think it will do what it thinks she wants...even if it sometimes thinks wrongly...

Hmm I think the ring REacts which would be of a BIG help here considering the Alien is crawling down to eat her.
LOOVE the angle on which to see said alien. However, I Like Star Sapphire the most in that angle! ;D

Lets check the tec manual for the ring to find the right submenu and then subsection and then the proper code to toggle the ring presumption mode to off...crap, can't do it until the ring is registered and the proper access code and license code and entry code are received from the supplier.
Yes, even superheroines have to fight the tech support war.
