The Bunny chicken.

As many of you know I work at Cirque Du Soleil as a wardrobe technician. Well I also have a second spot in the prop’ shop.
I am the set/scenic artist for the show as well. (yay) I was recently asked to create a “gift” for a new show opening in Vegas, called Criss Angel: BELIEVE.

This is the result, A sculpted bunny chicken, it took 2 weeks to craft from scratch, and was shipped off to Criss in a Coffin shaped box constructed by my co-worker Wayne.

The hat, is a dubitene covered bucket screwed to a piece of sawed and shaped ply-wood, (I had the cast and crew sign the red silk band on the hat) as it was a gift from our show to theirs.

The body is resin, and the head is hand crafted from foe fur and feathers, every little detail is taken in consideration to combine our little chicken and Criss’s bunny players/dancers.

The result is by far the best sculpture I have ever done. (I’m so proud)
