Description Jeeves and Bertie Wooster, because I can't stop with the slightly gay textures today.

Oh my gosh, Jeeves and Wooster! Haven't seen any fanart of them before, ever. That's excellent.

There's some lovely stuff out there J&W, though it's mostly on livejournal and a little difficult to track down! I enjoy these two immensely, but there doesn't seem to be a lot of fandom life for them out there.

Oh, well I'm glad to hear there's an Internet presence for them, even if it's only a little bit! I never read the books, but the TV series was brilliant.

I haven't read all the stories, but quite a few of them, at least! It's fun to see what they changed from the stories and which stories they combined in order to make the episodes. What surprised me was that they were so old and yet read as though they were very new. I don't think a lot of people would guess that these stories were as old as they are!

They were written around the 30s, weren't they? My mother has read the stories and I remember her reading me a bit in which Bertie decided he was going to move to a cottage and learn to play the trombone, and Jeeves promptly resigned

Even older! The first one was published in 1919, and they continued right through the mid-70s! It's all sort of taking place in this magical land where WWII never happened, I guess.

I know that one! You remember correctly! I can't remember any of the titles, but that one is definitely a thing. I guess it was actually a banjolele in the books, and a trombone in the show, but yeah, same effect of Jeeves just like 'yeah, peace out' on the whole affair.

Oh yeah, haha, I'm getting the shows and stories confused in my head. So they continued past the jazz age?

They were written beyond then, but never took place out of it.

An eternal 1920's...that sounds kind of excellent.
