The outfits are perfect. Sherlock was doomed to end up looking a bit like your vampire characters, between the pale skin and those eyes of his. John's face isn't particularly Freeman-ish, but he is hard to pin down to a few physical characteristics- unlike, well, Cumberbatch. This is, on the whole, excellent. My honest evaluation.

I'm sorry, but I can't be the only one that wants one of John's sweaters? They seem so comfy!
Anyways, your picture is really good! (If it wasn't, it wouldn't have reminded me of that.

Ahh! Ahh! AHHH! *flails* So I just watched these shows a week or so ago. And I could recognize them even from a 2-inch thumbnail image. Very nice!
I enjoyed the show, though what was strange for me was that sense of British-TV pacing... certain parts seemed to take unnecessarily long, like the taxi chase or a couple of the confrontations, while other parts, there was SO much happening that it was hard to follow. I did follow, and liked it, but my mom was really lost. That third episode could easily have been spread out into two and given us more chance to absorb it and savor it. Also, I was a bit annoyed at the general sexism; not in Sherlock, he can be a jerk and that's fine. But the way it was written overall, all the female characters seemed to be beautiful, patient, generous, weepy love interests, apart from three: the shrewish cop who is instantly shamed for having slept with a man on the force, the evil Chinese mafia donna (well, I guess she was okay), and the dotty motherly landlady. I just got tired of women either being hit on, or else traumatized that their love had been hurt or killed, over and over -- it was just 3 episodes and I thought it was too much! Also, the schtick with everyone mistakenly thinking they're gay got beaten into the ground by episode three; it stopped being funny and just became unnatural dialogue.
Oh, yes, the DRAWING! Haha. I do think you drew them very well! I love the sailor-y crew-neck sweater on Watson, and Holmes' irritated expression and high cheekbones. I keep thinking Watson has stubble on the show, but I may just be imagining that. P.S. I love how you do your paint-swooshy backgrounds.

Yes, just the first three. That's all my parents had when I was home -- maybe it's not in their library yet? How many episodes are there, now? British TV confuses me -- I'm used to a "season" of a show meaning 22 episodes or so, and in Britain it's what, 6?
Happy to make your day (night?)!

Truly -- how can *anything* have "two seasons" that are each only 3 episodes long!?? Mini-series sounds right to me.

Your Sherlock looks mildly upset about something and John looks like he's wondering what it is XD It's funny how boredom can make some interesting art! It's amazing how you got their face type and clothes spot on!

You didn't use a reference for this? Awesome job! Not only their faces but also their facial expressions are spot on.
These guys are everywhere. I've never even seen the show but can still picture them quiet clearly.

I didn't really understand the crimes, to be honest. I thought the characters were pretty interesting, but the actual plot... A lot of crime-solving and runninh from one place to another, and I had no idea what was going on! Don't know if that's just me, though...
