Edit: With the release of Cataclysm and the introduction of Worgen, my priest was able to finally find her true form. ^_^ The only thing that makes me sad is that Bliz didn't allow for worgen to be white.

Yay, I finally got around to leveling another toon up to 80! Okay, well she's been 80 for a few weeks, but it took forever for the T1 gloves to finally drop so I could complete this set. *lol* Meet Amaterasú, my little Disc priest. ^_^

This poster shows full Priest Tier 1 gear + matching pieces. All pieces of this tier of armor can be found in Molten Core, a level 60 raid. The background is the gates leading into Blackrock Mountain, where this raid is located. And, for the record, the quest to get Benediction, the staff shown, is still a royal pain in the ass. >.< Took me a good 4 hours worth of attempts to finally succeed at it, thanks to the ridiculously long re-spawn timer on the NPC who starts the quest.

In most cases, I've tried to get a set that contains pieces only from the level of content appropriate for the tier, and stuff that a Priest would have actually used at that level. Some sets, though, have weapons that I just think look best with the set. This is the former. ^_^
