Cera standing in the barren ocean. Iris is an urban fantasy story about a bunch of fantastical races struggling to survive in a human-ruled city devastated by flood and drought. Cera is a mermaid with no place to call home; like many Demi races she remains sealed so that she may function in human society, but the child in her belly calls out for the ocean...(Wow I'm bad and slow at posting, but hey it's still October here-!!)
