I've been having a crapton of fun with Inktober, it's been really great!! I've actually got a backlog of stuff to post but I guess that this'll do for now. Hope it's okay to be using copics in Inktober... >_>
Anyway, I've bene throwing around designs and doodles for a new character of mine, that chick with the broadsword. She's inspired by the Taotie designs found on Shang bronze vessels, so I've been playing with some demonic versions, too.

Ahhh, I saw it happening through friends on Tumblr, but basically all you do is try to do a piece with ink every day of the month for October! It was a lot of fun!

Inktober looks like a lot of fun.
I love how much movement you can show with just a few lines - it's somethingI really struggle with. Any tips?

Ahhhh, I really don't know, hurm.... it helped that I had a brush pen that I just had to keep moving and swiping around? Maybe working with more bleedy/free-flowing inking methods, like using sharpie or felt-tipped pens? ...I'm thinking of inking mainly though, whoops...
Also I'm pretty sure that any kind of curved blade/weapon shows lotsa movement by default... hahah! xD But I guess bending the spine, working in diagonals could help...?
But man good luck!! Your art is already so good~ and you should join inktober! Never too late! DX

Holly hell! I love your ink work!!! What exactly does one have to do for Inktober? as Ink is a medium I'm very interested in but have not really experimented much with.
