Perhaps i'll make a gemstone series and perhaps I won't.. Don't know. This is olivine/peridot, my favorite gemstone. The white patterns were created with masking fluid. Size is small: 13 x 18 cm.Used:
0.5 mechanical pencil 2b

water color
salt
masking fluid

I found Linde after alot of phonecalling and me having no money to call with
I get my inspiration from everywhere. This wasn't inspired by something in particular.. I just started drawing randomly on the watercolor paper and this is what came out

The colors in this are amazing.. I love this piece!

It creates the effect in the background. Salt sucks up the watercolor and that's why you see the white spots in it.
