The Dragon Child2014
Metallic gel Pen on Illustration Board
This is my first artwork for 2014 (finished yesterday, July 17), as I have been very busy rewriting lectures and the syllabi of the Fine Arts course in the university where I work. This piece is part of a 12 work set, in which the Volto Santo (sacred face) in mixed with the 12 characters of the Chinese Zodiac.

This really sucks you in, and once your in it feels kind of like a contained chunk of cosmos, with amazing order and symmetry.
