their terms of use state clearly that you need to credit the site or you cannot use the stock - atm it's a copyright violation.

just because it didn't cos money doesn't mean it's free

ah man this is more then a year ago.. Yes a lot of people love it, and I don't take any rights for the stock.
I don't see a problem since SXC does note notify clearly that I MUST credit or so.

if you read the TOS (Terms of Use) here [link] - which you should've done from the start - you will find that they DO in fact REQUIRE you to credit their site. It doesn't say "Standard restrictions apply" for nothing.

just cos "a lot of people love it" doesn't make you above following TOS

oh and don't "ah man" me, it makes you sound childish to say the least

I never said I'm above the law/TOS.

And I stay with my point if I say that SCX does not notify it clearly. How many people you know should read the TOS? Everyone knows that most of the people do not read those things so when there is a important part in it you have to put it elsewhere as well.

And about crediting there site, I've all ready done that in comments... Who cares if it's in the description or in the comments...

1st: everyone needs to read TOS - it's everyones personal responsibility to respect and abide by the law or terms of use or even netiquette.

2nd: comments can "fall off" the page, the artist's comment is where credits belong. also read dA TOS btw: FAQ #157: Can I use things created by other people in my submissions?

and 3rd: you sound like a 5 year old who got caught with their hands in the cookie jar. I'm not going to continue this conversation like this. I've said all there is to say - take it or leave it. But don't be surprised if people accuse you of doing something wrong because it's very obvious that you are.
