a quick pencil doodle I did yesterday as an example for my lil sis

She was having trouble with drawing her characters, although they turn out nice.. they always seemed a bit stiff, I was coaching her lol.. teaching her how to draw quick loose sketch with dynamic pose, and she did great for a first try, check it out [link] *w* <333

if you are interested, here are the tips I gave her :

- If you want nice curvy lines, use "pencil" not "mechanical pencil" the second kills the flow and has no pressure or depth.

- DON'T use the eraser when you make your initial sketch, erasing too much lines will distract you form the original idea.

- Don't draw a lot of lines in your sketch, for example: face needs 6 or 7 strokes maximum, if you find yourself doing more then you are stiffing the face.

- Don't use too many guide lines or shapes (circles etc..) let your sketch flow naturally.

- Best sketches are those sketched in seconds, if you have an idea, empty it on paper fast don't stop until you finish.

- Do some line touch ups here and there, fix things (now use eraser not much though), add few details and you are done! 8D

These aren't the ONLY or the right-must-follow way to sketch but from my experience, its the best way to follow when you want to draw fun and lively sketches =w=
