These are the detailed shots of the planets I made for my God Tier Jade cosplay. They were made so they could be used for day and night usage.Each were hand painted by me and haaah near the end I wanted to hurl myself off a cliff. I need to work more with the lights before next I use them. The checkerboard detail was done by hand by eyeballing where they should go and took the most time /sob/ It took about 2 days to complete the entire checkerboard.

im really really sorry for asking a question about this, but these are really amazing.
I'm actually trying to make something like these for my cousin--like a night light kind of deal (not related to this or anything) and i was wondering what kind of paint you used that allows the light to shine through?
Arcylic blocks it, but its like. not transparent so it can't be glass paint and omggg i just cant figure it out.

Haaa, thank you! I need to get around to answering them. I was going to try and shoot for a tutorial once I get things in order.
But! for making them look foggy? Just some fine grit sand paper. By frosting it like that, you also get a surface that will hold paint better, too!

Yeeah the checkerboard had me in tears cause I slacked till the day before leaving for the convention. Just take it slow and map things out the best you can. I used a sharpie for the black parts then painted the squares over with black paint then waited for it all to dry before painting the whole inside white so it came out looking like the checkerboard.

There are no words in my vocabulary to describe the quality of these props. And put together with your top-notch cosplay it's truly a great contribution you've made to the fandom as a whole and I thank you for it! Making them glow that bright must have been a pain.

Okay you really need to calm down. I've looked over your comments to myself and other cosplayers and you need to stop asking if they commission when the information can be easily found through reading journals of their own comments. Second, I'm not sure if English is your first language but you're coming off as demanding and it's hard to really understand some of your words. I understand you are probably eager but asking a hundred times if people commission is rather overwhelming.
You have asked me and if you would of READ the journal or the descriptions you could of easily found your answer. Not only that, but you continuously asked about 50 times and many of those times on THE SAME IMAGE.
I ONLY DO HORNS. Any other Homestuck product that is not okay-ed by Hussie should not be for sale since it goes against Copyright laws.
So please, to avoid headaches all around, take the time to READ and SPELL CHECK some of your words because I had a hard time understanding you. Sorry if this comes off as harsh but please understand that it's in order to help you.

These are absolutely beautiful! I must ask, how did you make them glow? Is the paint glow-in-the dark or are there lights inside of the orbs? The only way I could think of making them was painting old Christmas ornaments and putting tea lights inside where the hook usually goes so I could turn them on and off.

Actually they were made from things I found around the house left over from various other prop attempts and decorations. Mainly Christmas orbs.
