The first time I saw this base, it just shouted "Heiji and Kazuha" to me. It seems both of them have been playing with kinky stuff since they were kids :9
Trying out some different stuff this time. Hairlines looks good on Kazuha while surprise! surprise! Heiji is not so difficult to colour
Shading apparently looks better on Heiji than Kazuha. I still suck at background and there are some weird anatomy going on there. Drawing with a base is not as easy as it seems.

Very cool! Not sure what your thoughts are on yaoi...but I'll just say that I'm glad to see a base originally meant for that turned into something that I think is better and has some relation to the story of Kazuha and Heiji. I think you did a good job working with the base, actually. Perhaps some may think twice about how Kazuha is rendered because of the lighter hair color. But thats not a big deal. I think it may be the crop, since she is at the top of the page, and we are used to seeing a hairpiece/bow/etc at the top of her head (I remember a rare instance when she wore it down...not sure what ep it was...but it was cool to see her like that) so maybe thats why. But the crop is in the original base, so no big deal either way anyway, even if you would have wanted to cut off that portion, it'd still be a nice piece.

i chose this base because of the handcuffs, didn't really pay attention to the yaoi part. since it was a yaoi base, i spent extra time trying to make kazuha more girly, toning down the triceps, face etc. fortunately she turned out okay and can still be recognized as kazuha (or because she's with heiji?)

I think that since she is with Heiji we automatically think of Kazuha instead of any other girl.
