They say Aoyama's getting closer to the end of DC. He has followed through for some of the couples in the series. We might have to wait for SxR and HxK the longest though. D:

Shinichi's relationship with Ran is one of his big motivations to get back to normal size, so it's probably stuck as a the grand finale.
Yeah, it's been a long time since Vivi first came in! XD Was Chopper even part of the crew by the time you left it? As far as manga released in America, we're in the 30s/40s now! And there's more in Japan (and online). There is a story arc that a lot of people love (including myself) in the 30s- the Water Seven/Enies Lobby arc- a lot of people agree that it's the best story arc in the series so far. It's a little more serious than usual, but full of fun characters and great battles. In the most recent chapters released in Japan, we've actually gotten to see a flashback for Luffy finally.

Very nice job. But yea, I don't think we'll be seeing this until the final arc, at least for Shinichi and Ran. Probably before the very end, and again at the end...if they both survive. I think they'll both survive, because Akemi and Shuuichi are like archetypical characters for them both, and they've both already "died" so its no use for these two to die. Sorry, I kinda turned the mood from joyous to worrisome.

my mood doesn't change much because i have been waiting for a long time, so it's kinda neutral right now. but i always wonder what happens when it all finishes. i remember i was kinda sad when Yaiba finished after 24 tankoubon. maybe i'll be really sad and happy at the same time. sad it ends, happy Shinichi gets his body bad, Black Org defeated, Shinran and every other couple have happy ending. i inherently believe it's gonna be a happy ending

Let's look forward to the ending....but hopefully not too soon (well, 68 so far, so thankfully it won't be as short as Yaiba...though I've only seen a few episodes of that, and the anime doesn't even go as far as the manga). I'm sure that it will be a happy ending overall, no matter what sacrifices are necessary. There is one truth, and that truth shall prevail!

the Yaiba manga was of reasonable length. the anime however only covers one or two arcs in the manga but was really loyal to it. it's a good watch
