Description I am a sucker for patterns. When I first learned about the Golden Ratio, I straight up flipped out. Nature: chaotic, unpredictable, PERFECTLY MATHEMATICAL? What is this magic? I studied more about it, and all my art friends were like "ermahgerd math is dumb" and I am just...I'm sad that more people can't see how art and math GO PERFECTLY TOGETHER. So this is my homage to the beautiful Golden Mean (oddly enough not a lick of gold in this painting). The nautilus shell is possibly the most obvious thing in nature that follows the Golden Ratio curve.

This piece is up for sale on my Etsy page: [link] (It's on sale right now! Plus, free shipping!) If you or someone you know loves the Golden Ratio as much as I do, or just likes seeing a lady wearing a nautilus for a hat, this might be the perfect little gift!

I clicked on this in your gallery purely because I thought the nautilus-hat was rad

Why hasn't some fashion designer made a nautilus hat for the general public??
