Description
Watercolor and pen on illustration board. The board was being extremely stubborn so i had to do some improvising.

The two girls are supposed to be almost see-through, a representation of angels or spirits: we can't always see them but we feel their presence. They have clothed her in robes of green and crowned her with a ring of flowers. These represent righteousness, innocence and new life. I'm thinking about making a larger, more complete version of this piece but overall I'm pretty happy with it.

I borrowed the image from a still of one of Florence+the Machine's music videos (Raise it Up, I believe) but changed a bunch of things and added a story to it. I do consider this my own piece of art, but I still feel it necessary to mention where I got the inspiration.
