Thanks. This spot is in the woods, in a little open area, but the wind wasn't an issue.. I would have preferred some, it was extremely hot and muggy.

Okay, don't take offense, I love this image. I really do. But based on the title I was expecting a glimpse of the man. Not a full image, just a shoulder of flannel, chambray or plaid....would totally have finished this pic. Now, without the name coloring my expectations, the pic alone is phenomenal. The perspective and angle are perfection.

Thanks.
The name came from not having any idea of what to call it. While I was uploading this I was listening to music when itunes went to Michael Jackson's "Man in the mirror" and since this has a mirror image I said why not. I don't really like that name for this image but it's no biggie.

I love this stand of trees. I remember the first time I saw it.. It's just after a short trek through some brush where you're going this and that weird position to get through, then it opens up and not only are you relieved that you can walk normally, you get to see these. There is usually some water but not always this full -it was taken the same day as those others, when the creek was inches from the top of it's banks.

Texas isn't that far from Virginia, just hitch a ride with one of my fellow Texans living in your neighborhood.

It should only take about 3 12+hr driving days, unless you take turns driving, then probably 2 if you go hard.
Bring a few hundred to help with gas. -hahahha.
