I'm really, really sorry for my pathetic activity. After I had gotten done with my essay and presentation assignments, the professors gave me more essay and presentation assignments. Also, last week was the finals, so I had study for that as well.

Oh well... The vacation has just started, giving me room in my schedule to finish this. Unfortunately, as I've said in a previous journal, I am temporarily leaving DA for work this vacation, so this is the last deviation from me this year. I'll make another journal about my leave soon, to let you know when I'll be back and whatnot.

The story:
Forest Fight describes a brief event in Rusty's younger life as a sergeant for the US military. Before leaving on a mission that led to the event above, he met Kase Quadratto, a staunchly patriotic labrador, and Anodyne Needle, an agile and aggressive chocolate Abyssinian cat with a short fuse, both of whom were placed in the same platoon he was in. Their mission: find and rescue a captured US sergeant. Unfortunately, the enemy had somehow anticipated the offensive and launched an effective counterattack. In the ensuing battle, Rusty was shot in the knee, Anodyne had her tail blown off by a sniper's bullet, and the platoon lost two-thirds of its men.
Rusty's life in the military takes place before any event of the Under-Cats.
