Description
An idea came out in our community to make Welcome Back fan arts for Jack so I decided to go outside my comfort zone and try something I didn’t do for a long long time - semirealism.
Because I wanted to draw Jack in japanese yukata I decided to find a good term that would fit and while I always thought that “おかえり” [okaeri] was only used for welcoming sb back home I also found beautiful explanation:
“It’s the warmest welcome you may give, because you do not only welcome somebody back home but also you welcome them in your heart”
