Description (watercolor and gouache)
This painting is a result of my search for a new identity after the abrupt end of my first passionate but destructive relationship, the only sincere explanation I offered my first lover. This is also a cry of disillusionment and confusion, desire and its painful fulfillment. What do you see on the horizon, my lonely friend? The shadow of your past pure but fragile Self or a shape of a young, beautiful and strong Woman and a dawn of a real Love?

Your gift with the brush has me staring in awe. If I were to put your art in a journal (only on DA), would that be ok?Β  I never break copyright.

Hi,

sorry for a veeeery late reply to your question. I was not active on DA for many months. It's absolutely ok if you are still interested, if you refer properly.Β
and thank you for liking my art.

Thank you very much. Unfortunately, at that time I had a bad camera, so the qualiry of photo is rather bad. It is not that easy to take photos of big paintings either... I whish I had a better pic to show

I love your work! I'm a huge fan of surrealism, and you do it well The muted colors and beautifully interwoven silhouettes are my favorite parts of this piece. There's a delicate interaction of tones throughout this work that just seems to echo the tangle of emotions I'm sure you were experiencing when you did this.

I'd love to know more about the medium this was done in, how big it is, and how long it took you Β

Thank you very much! I am really glad to hear that you like my work. This particular painting is a watercolor with some white gouache, the size is about 75x57 cm. It takes usually a 3-6 months to finish a bigger painting. But I make some smaller ones at the same time. And, well, I don't actually have a lot of time to paint since I both work and study

Woah. 3-6 months on one piece? I can't even imagine what that must be like. You truly must go on a journey with each large painting you do! I'm glad you're still able to find some time to paint, your art is wonderful

Well, I take a lot of breaks during the process if I consentrate on a painting I can finish it in a 3-4 weeks.
