Colored version of my Kataang kids: Tenzin and his not-so-canon sis Kya (named after Katara's mom). Her necklace design came from early Katara designs from the totally awesome book 'A:TLA, The Art of the Animated Series.'I fixed their clothes from the original version. I realized that I'd had the fold direction wrong and I refused to make the same mistake as M. Night Shymalan. So I fixed it.
This color job took forever, but I'm pleased with the results. Apologies if any of the shading looks weird (probably does). Kind of the first time I've really tried this style.

listen, as i constantly tell people, its kaya. not kya. at least, thats how the name is suppost to be spelled. i don't know hoe bryke spells it...

In the 'Art of the Animated Series' book, which I guess was produced by Bryke, it's spelled Kya. That's what I was going by.

All shading and coloring, yes. Don't think I would have attempted it w/o the tablet though.
Yeah, I see these two as being really close and really competitive. I picture some absolutely killer airball matches taking place.
