Shade sat down by the fireplace. The green fire was crackling. The dark cave was lit up in a green-ish shimmer. It didn't look like an ordinary cave but there were pillows and blankets everywhere. Flashlight could see, that there was a huge shelve with datapdas and some old books. Fascinated by this scenery he sat down, next to Shade, at the fireplace on one of the green pillows. He looked up at Shade. "You still have books? Isn't that a little old-fashioned?" Flashlight asked a little confused. Shade smiled. "Yes, I do. There not just any books, they're my books." Flashlight lifted an optic ridge. "Your books?" he repeated. Shade nodded. "Yes, i wrote those back in the day." He looked rather proud. Flashlight looked at the books again. "Do you mind if I take a look at them?" he asked carefully. He wasn't quite sure how to rate Shade yet. He barely knew him and to be honest, he looked kind of scary. Shade chuckled. "Sure. But first let me tell you some stories you wanted to hear." Flashlight looked back at Shade again and smiled with excitement. "Of course! That's why I came here in the first place!" Shade smiled again. He was happy that he found someone who was interested in his stories. "Alright." He said after a short pause and then started to tell the stories of the Golden Ages.

inspired by this little thing Shade offered to tell a story from his time, since he grew up in the "golden ages" I guess I told you i was gonna draw it Mara! I couldn't resist after hearing that Flashlight was interested in these stories xD
i'm really proud how the background came out! I'm very happy with this. The idea for the green fire goes to ~Monsterkatze This is just a little design of how Shade's cave could look like, very comfy isn't it?
