Description (MAWFOCKA, I GOT ALL THA GUNS OF THE NAVARONE, WHACHA GONNA DO?)

Jokes aside, as you can see, this is where most of my time has gone. A shit ton of guns all at the disposal of the common Oceanic infantrymen. They generally range from the early 1800s to the late 1990s.

(Note, names and likeness (apart from the obscure) reflective of alt.verse)

*From 1895 on, all rifles, machine guns, and battle rifles excepting muzzle loaders, carbines, heavy machine guns, and anti-tank rifles tend to fire a catridge of some make or design equivalent to 7.62x51mm, unless stated otherwise.

Hello. I was wondering if I could use these weapons. I'm used to leaving credit to people and I will put your name on the picture itself if needed. I draw uniforms with pixels.

Ah, no worries, consider it a narrative based facet of testing out different abilities of mine. I haven't forgotten my roots, which reminds me that I have to change the LNWR's name to LSER.

Right right, always good to test one's metal. See it's odd, as of recent times, I have been really sticking to my ideals. The reason I draw steam engines and aircraft of the rigid lighter than air type is because these are some of the few machines man has made created purely as tools of construction, peace and prosperity, and neither were made practical by war. The gun in all its forms is quite a fascinating and ingenious machine throughout its spectacularly large range of variants and types, but it is always in the back of my mind that they were created so many hundreds of years ago to destroy man. That, and the people who use them today seem to be of a rather one sided and destructive mindset.

I cant wait to see the LSER. XD

Was gonna get round to that thing, as the luger is direly overrated, right?

That, and the Borchardt's more steampunk-looking, just needs a compensator to lessen the blowback.

Compensator eh? I can't image what a good looking one would like at the end of the barrel.

omega-steam In reply to Lapeer [2013-03-17 18:53:16 +0000 UTC]

Usually they'd compensate it by putting a stock on the back

Lapeer In reply to omega-steam [2013-03-19 22:40:42 +0000 UTC]

Made it, thought that a good way to handle the blow back was a stock and foregrip.

I fired the FN L2A1 when i was a cadet many moons ago, its a big rifle and has a powerfull kick, a few months late the SLR was replaced by the SA80 and i was one of the last few in our squadron to fire the rifle, i enjoyed fireing the Lee Enfield 303 and found it better for target practice.

Lapeer In reply to SourMind [2012-03-21 09:34:34 +0000 UTC]

Thanks, I got most of the inspiration for the arsenal here from various british common wealth armies, and to be truthful, I think the scales and designs could possibly be off from the origonals.

SourMind In reply to Lapeer [2012-03-21 09:37:00 +0000 UTC]

Its a good picture and the scale should not detract from that, good work
