Thank youuuuuuu! Ah, yes, the photo captivated me, both with the very squirrel and with the lighting, the shine, yessss, what is better indeed than a backlit shiny fur Besides, I kinda very much enjoy drawing that kind of thing in pencil (especially ever since I figured how to do it, lol XD ).
Yeah, I came to realize that (I've hardly ever drawn rodents before, except in sketches or something), and I can spot some mistakes in the anatomy too.... but it's not bad for a first try in squirrels XD
I wonder.... if the more vibrant fur was why he was so shy. Makes sense in relation to predators, you know, the more vibrant color usually means he will be more easily seen. But if he was so cautious, chances are nothing bad happened to him ;3
