I was just thinking of our Mulberry tree yesterday & how much the cardinal birds loved to come & eat the fruit. Our was giant sized could hold at least 10 kids without problems. Haven't had fresh mulberries in ages.

I had never heard of fishing with mulberries or any kind of fruit..."You learn something new everyday on dA". Thank you os much ofr that info.

I used mulberries only in the rivers or lakes where they grow on the riverside becouse the fishes like then when fall down in water ...

My family used to breed silkworms! In fact, I remember hearing that when they came to America from Italy, the women and girls had to keep the silkworms warm by putting them in their bodices. >.<

My thought on the matter is that it could have become very squishy indeed. .
