I have the theory in my head but it won't come out on paper
I think I may need to go back to the beginning and go through the stages one by one and see where I am going wrong! Yawn - I really want to master this!

I understand what you mean... When I look at my first watercolors I always ask myself whi I did not trash... It takes time, you will see that with the next one you will be more satisfied, I'm sure.
