we had to do a quick in-class parody of either American Gothic or the Mona Lisa. I had some trouble thinking of what to do with this stodgy old couple, until I thought of what they might be like behind the curtains of that house in the background.Side note: I know the original painting was of a farmer and his daughter...don't pay attention to that, I like to take artistic license.

dude, i was looking up handcuffs for a tattoo idea of something that represented prison or a jail cell for a project. That is how i came across this. I am glad i did. i got a good laugh. The drawing itself looks really good. make more of these..
