Description
Representatives of the two most powerful goblin countries in Jælondis, a continent on the northern hemisphere of my magitech world of Borgalor. Goblins are one of the main sapient peoples in Jælondis along with dwarves and elves, though they are not native to that part of the world, but sailed there from the continent of Örkraz by the equator long ago and settled in the region of Ójom in eastern Jælondis. There they've adapted well to the new environment, to the point of having ruled several empires in the past, and along with more traditional industries such as fishing, logging, weaving and alchemy are now important in fields of magic crystal mining and advanced runecraft, the latter which is Borgalor's rough equivalent of programming.
The woman depicted here on the left hails from the country of Biþræ in southeastern Ójom, while the man is from Terúk to the east.
Borgalorean goblins are mostly inspired by various Austronesian and Paleosiberian cultures, particularly the indigenous peoples of Taiwan.
