Description
Two Mörkel warriors from my bronze-age world of Dragonía; the Plain of Kings in NE-Dragonía is divided into over 20 different kingdoms, each a home to many different tribes of Mörkels with their own laws and customs, dialects, clothing and armaments. Kings and warriors of every kingdom have their distinctive helmets, armour and patterns on cloaks and loincloths, based on the ruling tribe which the royal dynasty belongs to.
The warrior on the left is from Lelenda on the northern plains; his shield is made out of the shell of a tirúa, small glyptodon-like creatures raised for their meat and shells.
The warrior on right is from Beikatrót on the coast to the east; the 'horns' on his helmet are in fact tusks of a hyrning, large ungulates resembling toxodonts and uintatheriums.
