For those who doesn't know, the japanese version of Sly Cooper and The Thievius Raccoonus have anime-style cutscenes, which are only used for the opening and the ending. What a pity.Related content

I think the fiasco of the Ratchet and Clank movie must have scared them off. Either they are re-working on it or thinking in cancel.

I hope not! XD ya know... it's because I saw the film version of Ratchet and Clank, I went out to buy a PS4 just to play the game version (since it had more story bits) the movie was great but felt it was rushed and missing a lot of plot points from the games they could of added.
Still... WAY better then Super Mario BrosΒ live actionΒ movie...

I never played any Ratchet and Clank game. Except for that one turret-like demo. But I did watch a walkthrough on youtube of the first three games.
On the plus side, the movie really does look likeΒ Ratchet and Clank.

It aren't no Clank in time or going commando but the movie game was pretty good.
That's the main thing I liked about the film, it flat like the games, something they lack in most film versions
hopefully they haven't given up on Sly since I think the Studio just needs another chance and perhaps not worry about a game version so theyΒ put more detail into the movie.Β

I only played the second one.
I really to play the other ones such as the PS3 remaster and Thieves in Time. But there are two problems with that: 1) Find them. 2) Money.
