thanks so much ! it's getting tough, though, weekly full color comics..

These are fantastic!
I'm amazed you're able to pull something so creative out so quickly and under pressure. Flabbergasted even. I love festivals, I don't go to anywhere near enough weird ones.
They're all ludicrously well composed too. They're begging and weeping for colour though.

thanks a lot matey !
I was amazed myself it even worked out, because I had no idea how to start. But I've already done a few under pressure-works. You get better at it, but it's still pretty tough. There's no room for mistakes and you absolutely make a lot of them , I can't but stare at all the flaws.
I kind of thought a few more seconds about composition. At first I absolutely wanted to do them in color. I drew them that way, but there was no time. That would've taken me at least another day..so it was black instead. you can color them if you like, but I'm moving on
Festivals are awesome. Last year I went to quite a lot of them, luckily for free, because I worked there. That was total awesomeness. So many great bands I've seen, great experiences, huge places with cool things happening everywhere and I haven't been to weird festivals either, but every festival sure has it's certain dose of weirdness - there's always people with funny hats, drunk guys with a kilt, boob-flashing girls...
yeehaa

well, not at the moment. I'm already pretty much at home for 2 weeks, being ill and all that. I'd like to go outside, get a drink with some friends or something.
But your life is as interesting as you make it of course . I try to do a lot of fun stuff, and that counts for daily things as well.
pimping things, playing some guitar, learning a new song, drawin fun stuff, drowning teabags, trying to find my way through the house with my eyes closed, sliding from the stairs..always keep the kid in you alive
haha !

More great work, I have to say, this is some of your tightest work yet. All the compositions are really solid, and flow together wonderfully.

thanks a bunch man ! It's amazing how much one can produce when he has a clear objective, guidelines and an extremely fast deadline. Despite feeling all dizzy and sick. I value the research and thinking process of great illustrations and comics even more now.

thanks a bunch, lady J !
Unfortunately, no, haven't had the exquisite opportunity to race a bathtub. In fact, we don't and never had a bath at home. Now you'll think I'm filthy . We have a shower only. Every time we went on holiday in a hotel with a bath I would rush in and take a one million dollar bath. I miss that. When I have my own place there will be a bath ! in solid gold ! ok perhaps, not solid gold, but there will be water in it!
Tractor pulling is also out of my league. I heard it's about pimped tractors pulling heavy metal waste or car wrecks, through mud...exactly the kind of inbred redneck-fest you want to be at.
There's also a Miss Tractor Pulling
thanks for the support again, I did my best to make the expressions fun to look at. And absolutely they're not weird or wierd, the funniest thing is that the people who visit these festivals are everyday people. I think I saw you at the Celtic festival, stealing Jaffa's ?

argh, spiders. I love spiderman, and despite having seen movies like arachnophobia, kingdom of the spiders, attack of the giant spider, etc I still don't like these little critters . In static form, ok, but as soon as these little (often hairy) legs start moving fast, I'm outta here. Or he/she's outta there. They trigger some kind of primitive instinctive fear reaction. I tried to rationalize it so many times: ow come on man, it's just a little thing, what can it do ? It aint smart to show you my weaknesses, but I'm a fair enemy and I'm in a good honest mood today (slurps his tea and adjusts his monocle). so I guess I would pass for your bath. such a shame, though. and ow yeah, the dinky little legs ! wonderful way of saying it , I'd like one too, but with robot-legs, so I'd have a walk outside.
ow, about the tractor thingie, no there's no girlie version, unfortunately. It's a typical sexist farmer festival, but there's an contest for "Miss Tractor Pulling". You know, a bunch of intellectual ladies get rated on their physical capabilities and get a crown if they win. and some flowers ( perhaps a bag of potatoes here, I'm not sure ). so, you're not gonna drive a tractor, I'm sorry. It's not fair, indeed.
Thanks a lot for making me spill tea on my keyboard from laughing, miss J ! that fiddling was pretty sweet "fiddle fiddle" and it was convincing, but that chocolate and orange layer around your mouth and in your beard kind of gave it away.
You might want to rethink your plans, like a good chess player, I'm always one step ahead ! muhahaha ( falls of stairs ) aaaaarrghh..crap ! my legs were already one step ahead. you'll..argh..be...hearing...from..me

ow, how kind of you, but mind that not everything is always what it seems ! ( reveals iron-plated man-corset and me in full and great shape )
spider robots are awesome, and so is dr octopus ! oh..wait..yeah, he's an octopus.
but spider robots are awesome. also the little ones. i loved those critters in Minority Report. awesome scene with the spiders.
(*looks at clock patiently*)
hahahah, the unagi is hilarious. loved that part ! and still love it. (gonna watch it again and again)
(*still looking at clock patiently while you are coming* )
talking about gaps again, there IS indeed a big one in the market. that would be pretty cool. I suggest you take the lead and show them who's the boss of girlie tractors ! You can girlify your tractor though.
Yes, I heard about those ninja-igors in the newspaper. too bad. my gypsies ran off too. and even my evil tapdancing vampires are on strike now. what is it with bad guys these days? can't we have a decent battle anymore ? come ooooon

*sulks* Ah, poopies... Tricked me again!
Haha spiders, octopii, what's the difference? Same number of legs, so close enough
*activates hover function and revvs engine*
Ooh I remember the little spiders! I was imagining little legs scampering up and down my back for hours after seeing that!
(Although that may have been those pesky leprachauns who occasionally snip locks of my hair off with teeny little scissors and sell them on the black market *sadly pats nearly-bald head*)
*sees Channel Tunnel below, zooms steadily on*
Haha the unagi episode IS hilarious, although I had my sister and brothers (all younger and far more evil than one could imagine) reenacting that scene nearly every other day for a while. I now keep a defribillator nearby for such an occasion, for me poor old heart.
*passes by the Louvre, blows kiss to a frenchman on a bicycle*
I'm seeing a possible series on this subject, something like ' Pimp My Tractor'.
*sees Dimitri, grins evilly*
That agency I hired the ninjas from have a lot to answer for. I want a refund! They weren't supposed to mutate like that
*activates Giant Squisher-of-people Thingy* I can see youuuu!
*doesn't see Dimitri*
Crap.

"sulk" is one of my other favourite english verbs and you almost made me poop my pants from laughing by using the hi hi heeelaarious "poopies" I'd pay money just to hear you say that.
*opens package with eyes of wonder*
talking about spiders. I found one cruising my keyboard today and it "unfortunately" ended up inspecting the other side of the keyboard. gah gah (evil) - seriously I don't like it when they cruise my keyboard. it crossed the uncomfortably close-zone
ow no way, that's your hair I'm stuffing my pillows with ! superior English quality they said, those little ones guarding their little pots o gold, and I have to say I sleep like a baby. but not when it's a bad hair day, though.
*unzipping secret thingie*
I envy you, living the ultimate unagi experience. I'm sure you cursed the writers of Friends many times , but on the other hand, it probably made you very Unagi now. Is it not ? the good ole pocket-defibrillator, oh yes. Luckily I have myself a fine pacemaker I can control manually. So I have my own techno beats. reminds me of a funny story and something in particular : Really stupid/naive people. Ok, I am somewhat naive, I have to say that, and ok, sometimes a little bit stupid as well, hey who isn't ? but there are some people that just...are unbelievable . and it forces you to play around with that. We made a friend of ours believe that a pacemaker is a device to manually get certain male parts of the body in an erect state . Until this very day, that is what she believes.
and another friend of mine I made believe that the song "sweet home Alabama" actually goes like "sweet home Abalama". She still sings it like that. She was the one that thought..here it comes..that the famous quote "Houston, we have a problem", actually went like "Justin, we have a problem", referring to some guy at the space center named Justin. I say no more
or wait, I say more. Pimp my tractor ! now that I haven't seen yet, although it's only a matter of time. I'm expecting series like pimp my toilet paper, pimp my hamster, pimp my breakfast, etc soon.
*the irony of it all: I just pimped myself*
hΓ haa, evil grinning eyy ? I see you, but you don't see me indeed. For I have made me, *zips up* the cloak of invisibility ! It's very difficult typing blind on my keyboard, though, but try to find me !
Indeed, these are hard times for us world dominators, if we can't even rely on evil agencies anymore. I could sell you some of my library nerds, they are of few use to me anyway. Unlike the hidden army of infected prostitutes..
watermelons !

Heehee... 'sulk' IS a mighty fun word... along with 'defenestrate', 'hypotenuse', 'ygmy', 'mink', 'guano' and 'aubergine'... And I heartily apologise for making you doody in your pants!
You squished my eight-legged minion with your keyboard?! Damn, I thought I trained my army of sentient Spy-ders (*nudge-nudge* see what I did there? ) better than that!!
Hmm interesting... You shall be receiving a visit from one of my Ninj-ors (cross between a ninja and an Igor) shortly to reclaim the contents of your pillow.
Suprised you found it even remotely comfortable though, every day is a bad hairday for me! (D'you remember the Friends episode when they go to the Bahamas and Monica gets poodle hair cos of the humidity? Well, that's me, except I rarely need humidity to create the afro-head effect )
Those darn leprachauns are on my 'List of People to Thwart', Kill Bill style ^_^ (I think you'd be honoured to hear that you top the list )
Yes indeedy, I am now a master (mistress?) in the honourable practices of Unagi. All those times I had to evade having the bejeesus scared out of me by ruthlessly cruel siblings has paid off. Plus, I learned that if you leave a few traps lying around, it distracts them long enough for me to evade their evil ways
Haha naive people are so fun! Endless hours of cruel satisfaction can be gained from convincing people that John Lennon, Johnny Cash and Elvis formed a jazz band and now play 20's swing tunes for little old ladies in Connecticut..
There's this brilliant book by a guy called Andy Riley, 'Great Lies to Tell Small Kids'... It's shocking how many of those actually work on grown-ups! "MILK FEELS PAIN.." => [link] OOOoooh and 'Bunny Suicides' is A-frickin'-MAZING ^_^ [link]
Teehee I will never think of pacemakers in the same way again!
:jawdrops: You got an INVISIBILITY CLOAK?!! Wow... I am both impressed and slightly bemused as to why this floating gloved hand is repeatedly poking me in the head.. What the hell is up with that?!
*hears shrieking, peers out of window* And why is there a large group of rather ill-looking women wearing skimpy clothes eating my neighbours?!

good luck !
